1. Handmade Products and Custom Orders
All products sold by GCVYO, including but not limited to baskets and other crafts, are handmade by local artisans in Northern Ghana. Due to the nature of handmade and custom-made products, slight variations in size, color, and design may occur. These variations are not considered defects but are a testament to the authenticity and uniqueness of each piece.
2. No Refunds Policy
All sales are final. GCVYO does not offer refunds for any products purchased. As each item is made to order specifically for you, we cannot accommodate requests for returns or exchanges. We encourage you to contact us with any questions before placing an order to ensure that you are fully satisfied with your purchase.
3. Production and Shipping Times
Due to the bespoke nature of our products and the fact that they are handmade by artisans in rural communities, please allow up to 30 days for production and delivery. Delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to local holidays, adverse weather conditions, or logistical challenges. We will make every effort to keep you informed of the progress of your order. However, we cannot guarantee delivery times.
4. Delays and Communication
While we strive to meet all estimated production and delivery times, delays may occur. GCVYO will keep you informed of any unexpected delays and provide updates on your order status. By purchasing from us, you agree to allow for potential delays and understand that delivery times are estimates only.
5. Disclaimer of Liability
GCVYO is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our products or services, or any inability to use our products, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses. GCVYO shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform due to causes beyond our reasonable control.
6. Ethical and Sustainable Practices
GCVYO is committed to ethical and sustainable practices. All products are sourced directly from artisans in Northern Ghana, and every effort is made to ensure fair compensation and sustainable production methods. By purchasing from us, you support local communities and contribute to preserving Ghanaian culture.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, graphics, and logos, is the property of GCVYO and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use or reproduction of any content from this website is prohibited.
